Private · Discreet · One to one

Your next chapter deserves more than good intentions.

Private coaching for older adults who want more structure, connection, and momentum, and for the adult children who want to help without taking over.

You'll leave the call with a clearer sense of whether this fits and what the next step could be.

Start where you are

Who are you looking for support for?

You don't have to navigate this alone.

Maybe the week has lost its shape. Maybe the calls you meant to make keep getting postponed, or the technology everyone else takes for granted has quietly become a barrier.

This is one-to-one coaching built entirely around your goals, your pace, and your independence, with someone steady beside you while you take the first few steps.

This tends to fit if you want:

  • More structure and momentum in the week
  • More opportunities for real connection
  • Greater confidence with everyday technology
  • Practical encouragement to turn intentions into action
  • Support through retirement, loss, a move, or another transition

The path

Three clear steps, one at a time.

01

Complimentary · 20 minutes

The introduction and fit call

A brief, focused conversation. You or a family member share what's happening, ask questions, and find out whether this is a good fit. You speak directly with me throughout.

We cover: what kind of support might help, which goals matter most, whether private coaching is appropriate, and what the most useful next step is.

02

The core work · 12 weeks

The private coaching program

A focused, high-touch experience built around clear goals, realistic weekly action, and thoughtful accountability.

You begin by identifying what matters most. Together we translate those priorities into specific, manageable steps. Progress is reviewed each week, barriers get addressed, and the plan adjusts based on what's actually working.

What's included

  • Twelve private 45-minute sessions
  • A personal Action Plan, updated weekly
  • Clear goals and realistic weekly steps
  • Practical structure and accountability
  • Priority email guidance between calls
  • Help with everyday technology and apps
  • Personalized ideas for connection and activity
  • Optional family conversations, with consent
$1,797Complete program. Flexible payment option: three monthly installments of $650.
03

By invitation · Six months, renewable

The Alumni Continuity Circle

Finishing the twelve weeks doesn't mean being left on your own. Graduates are invited to continue with bi-weekly 60-minute check-ins, ongoing refinement of the Action Plan, priority messaging between calls, and continued technology support at a locked graduate rate.

The six-month structure is deliberate: it's long enough to keep old habits from creeping back and to let real change settle. Pricing is shared privately with eligible graduates.

Support from a distance

A Gift of Care

When work, family, or distance make it hard to give the support you wish you could, this puts something meaningful and structured in place instead.

It isn't a gift certificate. After your purchase I contact you privately within one business day, we discuss your loved one and the most thoughtful way to introduce it, and I arrange a private introduction. Coaching begins only with the recipient's explicit interest and consent.

What your loved one receives

  • The complete 12-week private coaching program
  • A personalized digital welcome letter
  • A clear explanation of what's included
  • An optional handwritten card mailed to them
  • Structured, dependable support
$1,797Flexible payment option: three monthly installments of $650.

Rebuilding after divorce

“A difficult divorce left me feeling as though my whole life had come apart. Beka helped me focus on one piece at a time, rebuilding a routine, making weekly plans, and beginning to find purpose again. He was calm, patient, and deeply attentive.”

New York

Connection after loss

“After my husband died, I had stopped making plans. Our conversations helped me begin reaching out to friends again and put a few things on the calendar that I could genuinely look forward to.”

Purpose in retirement

“Retirement gave me plenty of time but very little direction. The weekly action plan gave the week a shape. Step by step, I started finding activities that felt meaningful and like my own.”

Meet Beka

Helping people find the next workable step has been the thread through my whole career.

For ten years, I worked alongside people navigating change, loss, disconnection, and the challenge of beginning again, much of it with adults in later life. Most recently, I served as a clinical therapist at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York.

I saw how life could begin to open again through small, purposeful actions: reconnecting with someone, returning to a familiar routine, trying something new, getting comfortable with everyday technology, or simply having something to look forward to.

It also taught me that people rarely need another lecture about what they should do. They need to feel heard, a plan that fits real life, and someone steady beside them for the first few steps.

Progress may look like making the call you had postponed, reconnecting with someone important, confidently joining a video call, or finding something new to anticipate. Those quiet changes are why this work matters so much to me.

Before you call

Questions people ask first

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching and practical guidance. It does not include psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency services. My clinical training informs how I work, but the work itself is forward-looking and goal-based.

My parent doesn't think they need help. What then?

That's common, and it's why nothing begins without the client's own interest and consent. Coaching is built around their goals and choices, not a family plan imposed on them. If a parent isn't open to it, the free call is still worth having. I'll tell you honestly whether this is the right moment.

How do the sessions actually happen?

By phone or video, whichever is easier. Scheduling and technology are kept deliberately simple, and getting set up comfortably is part of the work rather than a prerequisite for it.

Why twelve weeks?

Long enough for new routines to hold, short enough to stay focused. Progress gets reviewed weekly and the plan adjusts, so the twelve weeks build on each other rather than repeating.

What if it isn't a fit?

Then I'll say so and, where I can, point you toward something more appropriate. Either way, you'll leave with a clearer next step.

Is this affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine?

No. Purposeful Next Chapter is an independent coaching practice and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Weill Cornell Medicine. My previous role as a clinical therapist there is part of my professional background only.
